SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES AND PARENTS WITH SICK AND PREMATURE BABIES
Parents who have a baby in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) or Special Care baby Unit (SCUBU) are under a lot of stress. They're not only worried about the health and well-being of their newborn, they're also navigating the physical and emotional difficulties of hospital life: lost sleep, financial worries, transportation logistics, and the balance between work and other family responsibilities. HertsPrems is the 'Go To' support group for parents of premature and Sick Babies.
We do our best to offer parents and families affected by premature birth, illness or disability in babies as much practical and emotional support as we can. We share hope in tangible ways with families in the NICU/SCBU in and around Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. We invest our time, not for personal gratification but for the benefit of others who are walking our journey.
Don’t do it alone. We are here to provide you with friendship, support and information. To help you through this difficult period. We have all been there so understand the world you find yourself in. Having someone to talk with who you know truly understands the journey you are on can make things so much easier for you. So please give us a call or email anytime or Join our facebook community. Don’t feel isolated or alone contact us, our approach is parent facilitating and we are very open minded, come and be part of this unique family.
