HertsPrems 5 Year Anniversary

What an amazing journey we have been since experiencing a life changing situation of Premature labour, for me at 23 weeks and meeting Rebekah at the beginning of her NICU whilst we were at the tail end of our preemie Journey at Watford Neonatal Unit.

Little did I know that we would become more than friends, more soul sisters and forge an alliance in common with the same views and enthusiasm to continue to keep the awareness of #BabiesBornTooSmallTooSickTooSoon.  I have since had a second child at born at 35 weeks now 22 months, who is doing well and since then we have been able to meet with families once a month at The Reddings Childrens Centre, Bushey and feature in their programme.

The most awesome part is the on going support we get from families who have experienced similar and are willing to be a part of a generation of families who experienced something unique and have come out the other side.

Thanks to all who have supported us and continue to believe in #HertsPrems

We continue to look at valued sponsors who can help us get our local Neontal Units to a level required to provide the best care and support families going through their roller coaster journey.

Please enjoy looking at what a success our Play and Stay events have been…
